Dr. Guerrero, originally from Hawaii, obtained his doctorate in Chicago before relocating to Texas 17 years ago. With extensive experience in various settings—ranging from psychiatric hospitals to outpatient clinics and residential treatment—he specializes in individual, couples, and family psychotherapy. As a licensed psychologist, he employs Cognitive Behavioral Therapy and Psychodynamic Therapy across all age groups. Dr. Guerrero is also passionate about exploring psychological dynamics, understanding how mental illness can hinder healthy, fulfilling lives and affect relationships. that are important to us. Often times, therapy helps improve our relationships with the people with care and love. Psychotherapy helps you get refocused. Dr. Guerrero will often tailor his treatment to one's most pressing issues.

Dr. Guerrero provides psychological services (e.g. psychotherapy, diagnostic assessment) for children, adults and older adults, including treatment of anxiety, depression, marriage and relationship problems, obsessive-compulsiveness, post-traumatic stress, personality problems, alcohol and substance abuse.  Dr. Guerrero also provides ADHD assessment for children 6-17 years old.

For child and adolescent problems, Dr. Guerrero will provide psychotherapy and or parent consultations for: depression, anxiety, anger management, stress management, ADHD, and trauma.
